Fariha Mohsin was born and brought up in Taj Mohal Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka. Fariha is the youngest among three sisters and one brother. Although she studied in Mohammadpur preparatory higher secondary school till primary, she passed secondary and higher secondary from Mirpur Ideal Girls High School and College. After that She did Diploma in Computer Engineering from Daffodil Technical Institute. She then graduated from the London College of Makeup in Dubai with a degree in Makeup and Hairstyling.And also IMA certified approved makeup artist from London
Fariha Mohsin started her career as a makeup artist. She is an International Makeup Artist and a Certified Makeup Artist from the International Makeup Association (IMA). Currently she has joined the Dubai International Fashion Week as a makeup artist.
When asked about the story of working as a makeup artist, Fariha said, ‘I have been interested in makeup since childhood. I always wore makeup. My plaything was makeup. After growing up and finishing college life, varsity life, I thought that now I have to give my hobby in the form of real success. So I first decorated a room in my house on a small scale as a makeup studio and started working on makeup there. This is how my journey as a makeup artist started.
About going to study makeup in Dubai, Fariha said, “By going to various programs in Dubai, I came to know that there is a higher education in makeup, there are makeup colleges. From then on my interest grew. It is from this interest that I got admission in the London Makeup College in Dubai and strive to make myself more qualified and present myself in front of everyone.
Fariha is successful by graduating in makeup from the best top makeup college in Dubai. There she got the opportunity to work in several international makeup shows.
Fariha wants Bangladeshi girls to have a good understanding of not only bridal and party makeup, but also many other branches of makeup and many other types of makeup, and she is working towards that goal. Fariha wishes she will take the country forward through makeup and represent it internationally.
