Maliha Tabassum is a writer, musician and reciter. Maliha Tabassum was born on 19 November 1999 in Dhanmondi of the capital. Father Mohammad Abdul Malek Tipu works as a manager of a private company. Mother Taslima Malek Kaya is a writer. Maliha is the eldest among 3 siblings. She spent his childhood and youth in Dhanmondi, Motijheel and Khilgaon areas. She completed SSC-HSC from Motijheel Ideal School and College and is studying MBBS in Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College.

Maliha Tabassum is currently a fourth year student of Suhrawardy Medical College, Dhaka. From childhood, the word doctor before Maliha’s name seemed very ‘gorgeous’. Again, all cultural activities including writing, singing, reciting were also very attractive. Maliha made her debut in the world of literature in 2019 with the spy thriller ‘brittobandi’.

In 2020, she wrote the psychological thriller ‘Gigolo’. After that, the novels ‘Inferiority Complex’, ‘Achilles Tendon’ were published one by one. Her classmates read his writings and praised him, she has no idea how many ‘letters’ have arrived in Her Facebook inbox. Maliha has decided to publish one book every year from now on.

Maliha Tabassum is a listed artist of Bangladesh Betar. She also did a program on a private radio. She is associated with an organization called ‘D Beats’ in the college campus. She is with any cultural program of the college. Every teacher in the college encouraged her more or less. However, the head of the forensics department, Professor Salim Raza, said separately.

Want to be an Agatha Christie or JK Rowling. Want to contribute to make Bangladeshi women self-reliant and want to make a movie about his story one day. She will play playback in that movie. She may also take the responsibility of acting.

Maliha said, ‘Once the internship is over, I will start making movies very soon. Already in talks with a production company. If everything goes well, I will start work by the end of 2023.

Maliha received the National-level Classical Music and Recital Award from Nazrul Academy (organised by Tamuddin Majlis, the architect organization of the language movement) in 2015. In 2020, she was also awarded as one of the top fifty novelists on the Banglamati website. In 2022, Maliha’s book won the Rokomari Best Seller Award.
